- "Arm
wrestling is just as much technique as strength. Use your bodyweight
for a successful toproll." -Joseph
Hammond
- "I pretty
much force back their wrist so that I have more control over their
arm." -Christian Greear
- "If
I cannot do the toproll all in one move, then what I do is take
it in stages. I give them my initial hit and hopefully have made
some progress. Then I pause to clamp down with my lower two fingers
and crawl out on their hand with my other two. Then I clamp with
the top two and walk my bottom two up. Now I am out further on
their hand and so I give them another surge. If that doesn't take
them down, then I just repeat it over and over until I win."
-John Michaels
- "I use
my legs to generate backpressure rather than using my arm. I just
lock my arm at the beginning of the match and then surge back
with my legs to generate all the backpressure I need (and then
some). It works like a charm." -Mark
